...Luna de Miel...

Honeymoon!
Part One
Cancun, Mexico
July 20-July 24

Chichen Itza "...at the mouth of the well of the Itza" is a large pre-Columbian archaeological site built by the Maya civilization located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula, in the Yucatán state, present-day Mexico.

France, in the athletic field. Perfect.

It's raining it's pouring!
Learning so much about the Mayans....

Cenote!

No one likes a boring picture! Hence the stance... :)

Our wonderful guide, teaching us about the great pyramid.

Tourist trap! They make you stop at one of these for near an hour to buy things and stuff and etc. After the 'layover' we were on our way to the ruins!

Before we loaded the buses. Poor France, that looks painful.

Life imitating art.

The mall looked like a ruin. You are right, it was cool.

Lookin' sneaky.

Beautiful, tropical storm Dolly Cancun. Yes, we were rained on, for 3 days straight!
But, ah, a ray of light!

My personal fave. Love the jacket honey!

Ay carumba!

We are a Nike flip/flop/family.

Do you see gelato you ask? Yes, you do.

Homage to Cap'n Jack.

Good thing it's fake. :)

Mmmm Mexican buffet, all sorts of foodstuffs we have never seen before!

Our great reef snorkel tour mode of transportation. We got to drive it 45 minutes each way through a bay, a jungle and then a reef! We were sun burnt and crispy fried by the end!

Snorkle adventure. There was a barracuda staring at me at one point. Oh dear.

France, I wish you would have wore that get-up when we'd be ridin. Then maybe you'd have been more entertaining than Bob!
