Bread

Samuel, King of the Bread.
Protector of Gluten.
Master of Carbs.

I've never really spent time making bread. I would eat it all. BUT when asked to make 5-10 loaves for a great cause, I decided to expiriement. I learned....a lot.....unfortunatly I am more confident in my skills now (not with the loaves pictured though, they're not there yet), and I realllly love white bread with homemade raspberry jam. Will power, gotta ask Santa for that for Christmas. :)

He is five months old. His hair is growing in and he flips around like a trout caught at Lake Chelan. Watch out world, this kid can move.

Four months baby! Healthy and pretty average. We couldn't be more thankful.

But the Doc did say he was a muscly little stud. France was pleased when I told him. :)

We met up with our bud (and author) Jason Wright at a book signing in Boise. It was fun to catch up! Can't wait to read his new book "The Wedding Letters." :)

The only time Sammy is happy in a car seat, when he is being thus removed.

So this kid likes to hide himself under blankets, he pulls EVERYTHING over his face. He does this to fall asleep and then I promptly go remove it.

(thoughtful kid eh?)

This Man is 31

....and he has to work at the Air Show. Sammy and I joined him for a while and saw the Thunderbirds! Sammy hated every minute of it. We will get a babysitter next time. Thunderbirds less than 500 ft away are verrry loud. Oops.

Anyhoo! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! I even made him the Maglebys Chocolate cake to celebrate. :)

So....we like to send Elder Bird little 30 sec videos of Sammy everyweek from my iPod (Elder Bird is my little brother Jake who is on an LDS Mission to Tucson AZ for two years!), but the computers he has for this transfer stink. SOO we make him funny cards. I had to post this one. That's all.

This almost 2 minutes and might be 2 minutes too long for some, but we finally got his giggle on camera and I just posted the whole thang. :)

Who knew that getting this kid dressed is the funniest thing to happen to him everyday.

3months

We lost the teddybear in the move. Ohwell.

ps: Our house is STILL getting unpacked and is quite messy, I am taking my sweet time for some reason. Ug. :)

Lately.

We moved to Mountain Home ID! We have internet now! Sam's getting better at tummy time. Come visit us. :)

My dear friend Michelle, whom I shall miss terribly agreed to join me on my last day trip to Napa Valley. I really love that place. It's all about the food. Seriously. So remember how I vowed to eat at Bottega's. Well we did. I had gnocchi and it was glorious. We also got Bouchon cookies (again) Model bakery english muffins (again) and we got a red velvet cupcake and chocolate croissant for France at Dean & Delucas. He pretty much loved it. Me too. Thanks Michelle and Sammy for helping me spend $ on life's necessities.....right? The movers are here as we speak. I may cry just a bit, I love this place.

Sam @ 2 Months

Sam is officially 15 lbs, batting at toys, grabbing at my hair, talking and giggling in "Sammish" and is just really cute. He is wearing 3-6 month clothing and is in size 2 diapers....he's huge. :)

France is back from his TDY in South America and boy has Sammy changed! France left when he was around 5 weeks and came back at almost 9! They sure love each other! (I got to spend 3 lovely weeks in Spokane with my family! Thanks FAM!).

It has begun...let's hope I can get the binky in fast enough every time.

Sammy came out at birth holding his neck up, crazy. So it's fun to put him in his new toys! He LOVEs to see everything and this bebePod on the chair realllly helps. Silly Sam.
